01.030.0401 Detail: Masonry Sill - Ridgid Flash3D Model
This window sill detail shows a rigid flashing under the masonry sill capable of spanning across the cavity. The flashing forms a drip edge that extends about 1/2’ from the face of the masonry to allow water to escape from the wall. The flashing returns vertically 1’ (min.) or 2’ (preferred) to form a pan, or end dam, where it terminates at the ends of the sill. The details shows a vertical expansion joint at the face brick.
