Replaceable module shells are a unique feature of the Ara architecture. They allow users to aesthetically customize their Ara phone by leveraging injection molded polycarbonate plastic and dye sublimation process to create full color and high resolution shell designs, and if desired, to replace module shells any time thereafter.
