This is a 3D model of an ancient bronze statue in the National Archaeology Museum, Florence. The hollow-cast Etruscan bronze statue depicts a man with his right arm outstretched. Found in Lake Trasimeno in 1566, this statue likely depicts a magistrate. The inscription along the bottom of his toga appears to translate to, “To (or from) Auli Meteli, the son of Vel and Vesi, Tenine (?) set up this statue as a votive offering to Sans, by deliberation of the people.”
