More model informationMy rendition of a Watervliet Model 1888 12 Inch Gun.
With no surviving examples or blueprints left, this gun was painstakingly made using old photos and eyeballed measurements over the course of two months. The gun is mounted on an M1892 Barbette and is modelled to resemble those originally installed at Battery Varnum in Fort Wetherill Rhode Island.
