More model informationCanmore ID 53274. NT 31737 58650. The gateway with a chamfered decoration on the arch was dated to the 12th or 13th century, with a Hospitaller shield (of likely 15th-century date) overcut on the keystone. The entire structure was removed from Temple Church, Temple, Midlothian, Scotland in the mid-17th century by Stephen Boyd, who occupied Temple House and extended and remodelled the church at this time.
