130 mm/50 (5.1”) B13 Pattern 1936

This Soviet weapon was to have high barrel pressure in order to match the performance of the older 130 mm/55 (5.1”) Pattern 1913 gun. However, this design turned out to be too big for the “Pravda” class submarines. For that reason, the design was modified to allow it to be used on destroyers. These weapons were widely used in World War II and remained in production until 1954.

This high-poly model depicts a twin mount B-2LM.

note about the rifling: Since I could only find information on the number of grooves and the depth of the grooves, I used the older 130 mm/55 (5.1”) Pattern 1913 gun as a basis to fill in the blanks (twist, width of the lands, space between the grooves). Rifling is not historically correct.
