[1430] GSb 387 Titanites Ammonite 950K Obj

This large ammonite (around 50cm in diameter) would have inhabited the warm Jurassic seas of around 150 million years ago. We don’t know exactly where it was found, or who by, but it may have come from the limestone quarries on the Isle of Portland, in Dorset, which were being extensively worked for building stones around the same time.
