Late Medieval German Kriegsmesser. “Kriegsmesser” is German for “War Knife,” and was commonly used for military combat by late medieval and early renaissance German mercenaries, as opposed to ordinary German messers, which were smaller and were used more for civilian defense. This model was made using references from historical artifacts found in museums such as the Kunsthistoriches Museum in Vienna, Austria. All textures were made procedurally and then baked into image files.
