17th Century Grave markerYour model is disabled. For more details go to Edit properties3D Model
This grave marker is beside the south wall of the church and is heavily weathered. The stone can be read as Here Ly[th]/The Body Of/… (the rest of the inscription is worn). THis stone, including inscription, was recorded by Bradley, Halpin & King for the Urban Archaeology Survey (1986). Since then the inscription has become so weathered that barely a trace survives and it could only be rediscovered using photogrammetry.
