1920s American Cafe Diorama

This is a slice of americana pie.

I wanted to capture a 1920s American cafe, this meant every element had to be carefully considered and designed.

I spent a couple of days just creating designs and gathering references, this process really made creating the 3D assets painless and quick. Here are several Pinterest pages I made for this project.

These were used whenever I was unsure about a design or material. Here are a few of the pages of sketches I did for this project and a table that was removed shortly before the scene was finished.

None of these are very high quality, but they get across enough of an idea for me to transulate them into 3D. Thumbnail sketches like these really help me make an approachable end goal. The table was removed because it cluttered the scene too much.
