The 1936 Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic is an ultra-rare, iconic luxury sports coupe. Only four were ever built, three survive today, and each is worth over $40 million.

Design and Features Designer: Created by Jean Bugatti, the son of founder Ettore Bugatti. Body Shape: Famous for a teardrop shape and a distinct raised vertical seam running down the middle from front to back, inspired by airplane building. Engine: Uses a powerful 3.3-litre straight-eight engine that can reach a top speed of over 120 mph.

The Four Cars The Missing Car: The second car built, known as “La Voiture Noire”, was Jean Bugatti’s personal car. It went missing around 1938–1939 and remains one of history’s greatest automotive mysteries. The Survivors: Only three cars remain today. One famous surviving model is owned by fashion designer Ralph Lauren.
