The 2010 Audi e-tron concept lineup introduced pivotal electric and hybrid prototypes, most notably the Detroit e-tron Showcar, the A1 e-tron city car, and the e-tron Spyder, which laid the groundwork for Audi’s modern electrified vehicle family.

Detroit e-tron Concept (2010) Performance: Powered by dual rear electric motors generating 150 kW and 2,650 Nm of torque, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h (0–62 mph) in 5.9 seconds. Build: Utilized Audi Space Frame (ASF) aluminum construction and weighed roughly 1,350 kg (2,976 lbs), featuring a 45 kWh lithium-ion battery.
