For the first time, Audi is presenting a concept car at the Pebble Beach Automotive Week in Monterey, California. The all-electric Audi PB18 e-tron is a radical vision of the super sports car of tomorrow. Wide and low, visibly inspired by the wind tunnel and the racetrack, its mere presence already expresses a propensity to push the boundaries. Its concept and its exhilarating lines were created in the new Audi design studio in the Californian city of Malibu, where the brand is constantly modernizing its design with an eye to the future. The technical concept of the PB18 e-tron benefits from Audi’s years of racing experience, having won multiple Le Mans victories. Implementation was entrusted to the experts at Audi Sport GmbH, the brand’s high-performance subsidiary. The abbreviation “PB18 e-tron” refers to Pebble Beach, the venue for the premiere, but also to the technological and technical genes that this concept shares with the Audi R18 e-tron, the successful LMP1 racing car.
