21cm Theodolite by Hildebrand3D Model
A Hildebrand theodolite is a surveying instrument known for its precision, particularly in angle measurement, and is associated with the company of Max Hildebrand in Freiberg, Germany. Hildebrand, a precision mechanic, significantly improved geodetic and astronomical instruments, including theodolites, according to ETHeritage.
These instruments were widely used in national surveys, particularly in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, and were known for their screw micrometers or microscopes used for precise readings.
