流水號印製

早期票券的流水號，透過活版印刷機可自動跑號印刷，師傅與學徒們在印製過程中須邊印製邊檢查成品是否有跳號狀況發生。若發生跳號時，則須等鉛字全數自動印製完畢後，再補印跳號的流水號碼，是重印率較高的一項工作。

Printing serial numbers

In the past, ticket serial numbers were printed automatically on a letterpress. While printing, the master and apprentice also had to check to make sure no numbers were skipped in the process. If skipping occurred, it was necessary to wait until the automatic printing was completed and then reprint the missing numbers. Thus the job had a high reprint rate.
