The mesh is courtesy of Allegorithmic, not my own work and only uploaded to showcase my texturing work.

I’ve entered a texturing competition last year, where I came 2nd with this entry. The theme was the new Red Dead Redemption 2 game and we’ve been judged by industry professionals on our skills.

“Bullet: This is another great attempt. The bullet as a face is really really nice. The surface information and text are nice and clean. The texturing and edge damages on head are fantastic. It looks really believable, and the subtle scratches work really well. The floral pattern around the head and on the chest and arm are cool, but a little ambiguous. It would be cool if the floral patterns were a cowboy-esque tattoo or something like that. Alternatively, I feel the raised floral detail could work as is, but it is all consistently raised. It would be nice to see some more depth and layering instead.” Feedback by: George O’Keefe, environment artist at Rare.
