3D Beast Model - (Capra Babarus)

3D Model

This model currently stands as my first completed model, textures and all from my current 3rd year project at University. Myself and a group of other members of my class are collaborating on creating an alpha for a small fantasy MMORPG esc world. Myself and another 3D character artist have been given the task of modeling both the in games characters and some of the creatures, beasts and enemy’s that the player will be able to find in the world.

Working from the concept piece that I have included in the post that was designed by our groups concept artist Yaz, I was able to create the final model here which did as you can see go through some changes. Our group leader decided that the colour scheme mainly, was a bit loud for a beast that was supposed to be akin to that of a yak or bull so we agreed on a far more simple colour way which still lends to the unique nature of the initial concept.
