Rujum el-Hiri (Gilgal Refā’īm) is an ancient megalithic monument consisting of concentric circles of stone with a chamber tomb at the center. It is located in the Golan Heights, in the middle of a large plateau covered with dolmens. It is called as the stonehange of Israel. Some people believe it has mysterious meanings. The pure facts are that the Rujum have three sets of geomeric perfect concentric stone sircles. The arrangement contains about 40,000 basalt stones. It is very clear that this project was very unique and needed lots of working hours. This site never got seen from above until the first flight took place. So one need to question why they built it and to who? The logic explanation is that we talking about a major worship site, after theh it served as a tomb!
