3D Print - Prototype Bot Hand

This 3D object is of a mechanical hand. There are channels allocated for cable actuators with holes in the fingertips to serve as anchor points. The desing incorportaes anchors for tension springs on the back or side of each joint. The caps of each pin have recesses for glue deposits. The print dimensions are 7.5” x 6.5” x .675”; the completed hand measures approximatly 6” x 6” x .5” with thumb to the side. The print time is estimated at twenty hours; the filament usage is estimated at twenty-eight meters of 1.75 mm PETG with support, brim and twenty-five percent tri-hexagonal infill.
