On January 23rd 1960, two people landed in the deepest point on the earth’s surface. Only a dozen or so people and a handful of submarines have made the attempt since, but Jacques Picard, Don Walsh, and the Trieste were there first.

Had to cheat the lighting a bit, a “realistic” amount of light would be unworkable unfortunately. Additionally I do not know what the most accurate livery for the submarine should be for the challenger deep dive, but the black hull version looked best in this scene.
