41VV0074 - Fate Bell - Panel 1 Sections 1 - 403D Model
41VV0074 (Fate Bell) is an incredibly significant archaeological site in the Lower Pecos Canyonlands, due to its size, sheer amount of archaeological deposits, and extensive rock art panels. This site records a long history of hunter-gatherer life in the region. Rock art at the site includes a wide range of pictograph styles, such as Pecos River style, Red Linear style, five separate unidentified pictograph styles, Historic Period imagery, and modern graffiti. Figurative petroglyphs and thousands of deeply-incised grooves are also present along boulders within the site. Shumla documented four rock art panels at the site during the Alexandria Project, but Panel 1 is by far the largest and most dense - this panel measures over 200 meters in length and was split into 40 sections to facilitate documentation!
