5.56x45mm rimless bottlenecked intermediate Cartridge developed late 1970, standardized as second standard cartridge for NATO in 1980. Similar but not identical to .223 Remington Cartridge.

This Asset includes three different Projectile Types, short (19.3mm) Flat-Based Projectile, medium (23.1mm) and long (29.3mm) Boat-Tail Projectiles with two Texture Sets for tipped “Arrow Head” and full jacket Projectiles.
Includes Material ID / Color ID Textures to create custom Texture Sets with your favourite Texturing Software.

Cartridge dimensions modelled after real world data in order to maintain compatibility between Weapon models of same Caliber and as reference for proper scaling of parts like Magazines, Barrels and Bolts.
