More model informationWide-Mouth, Narrow-Neck Rounded Vessel with Concave Base
The excavation of the tomb in which this vessel was discovered also yielded bead adornments. This reddish-brown sand-tempered vessel features a wide mouth, collared neck, rounded body, and concave base. Sets of incised lines, each comprising six parallel lines, adorn the mouth. Four distinct bands of incised motifs encircle the mouth, complemented by dot patterns below. The body bears three identical bands of incised motifs applied directly to the surface. Its artisanship is highly refined and culturally significant, representing a unique artifact within prehistoric culture in Taiwan.
