More model informationFound on a site (5MT7405) located on Mockingbird Mesa within Canyons of the Ancients National Monument, this red-slipped, corrugated ceramic pot sherd is indicative of the extensive social networks that played a vital role to the region’s Puebloan inhabitants during the 12th and 13 Centuries A.D. Unlike any other ceramic type from the Northern San Juan Region, the object likely travelled hundreds of miles prior to its use and disposal near a subterranean kiva in this small village which housed approximately 20 inhabitants.
