It is a pavilion built by Kim Jong-geol, a royal official of the Joseon Dynasty, around the 1st year of King Hyojong (1650).
It measures 3 kan at the front and 2 kan at the side, and the roof has a hip and gable roof that resembles the shape of the character 8 on the side. It is a simple building with a floor in the middle and an ondol room on both sides. Railings were installed around the numaru.
The pond in front of the pavilion, an artificial island, large rocks, and old pine trees harmonize well with the pavilion, giving you a glimpse of the nobleman’s eyes at the time.
