Figure embodying the element "Gold"3D Model
3D scan of a figure holding a gold coin and wearing a golden rimmed purse, that is part of the architecture in Hall 6 of NHMW, representing the chemical element Gold (Au). Gold is not only very rare but also one of the softest and heaviest metals and resistant to attack by air, heat, moisture and most solvents. Thanks to these qualities and its warm shine, gold was deemed the most precious of metals. All figures in Hall 6 of the NHM Vienna were created by Edmund Hofmann.
