The Billiards Room

Welcome to The Hallwyl Museum in Stockholm, Sweden.

Once the home of Walther and Wilhelmina von Hallwyl.

This was intended as a room for socialising for gentlemen. Those who did not participate in the game could watch from the wall-mounted bench.

The Billiards Room, like The Dining Room, is done in a style between Renaissance and early Baroque. Note that the windows in both rooms are made up from round antique lights that have been framed in lead.

The images for this project were captured using an array of four Panasonic Lumix GX8 cameras.
