Chef Eduard Sauer is the surly, embittered cook of the once-renowned Heilwald Klinikum, infamous for ladling out his dreadful Fleischsuppe to patients and staff alike. Known for his foul attitude and constant swearing, Sauer’s miserable personality is as notorious as his inedible meals, which leave those unfortunate enough to taste them passing out from disgust. Behind the cauldron, he was long careless with hygiene and broke his oath to prevent disease, a sin hinted to have contributed to his downfall. When Dr. Randolph’s corruption warped the hospital into a hellish loop, Sauer’s punishment became his eternal torment: he is fused inside a boiling pot, endlessly cooking and serving soup made from his own flesh to the damned.
