Decided to take a couple of my photogrammetry experiments and group them all together. Originally I was looking at combining them into a single mesh and then baking down the textures from the hi poly to the lo but boolean unions with the photogrammetry stuff is not particularly clean. I also used some rock assets from this free rock pack by Travis Davids: -link removed- He also included some videos on how to use photogrammetry to not just make meshes but make substances and depth maps for alphas. Originally my intention with these experiments was to figure out how to speed up environmental building using scans, but it actually seems that his technique, of using it to generate meshes to then generate assets that can be used dynamically for sculpting brushes etc is much better. Anyway, here we go!
