The Malther PPA (Powered Plasma Accelerator) Splintergun adapted for Project ERYX mission deployment is a compact, high-output sidearm designed for rapid close-to-medium-range annihilation. Instead of conventional projectiles, it fires 30-round micro-cartridges packed with razor-sharp tungsten-iridium splinters. When the trigger is pulled, the gun’s internal accelerator coils superheat each splinter to white-hot plasma in a fraction of a second, turning it into a bolt of charged, molten metal that explodes on impact. Power is supplied through the articulated stabilization arm that plugs directly into your exosuit’s or backpack power cells. The front plasma accelerator section can be swapped or extended with an SMG repeater kit for sustained suppression or room-clearing.
