Gypsum wall panel relief: a beardless attendant, the Keeper of the King’s Bow, who wears over his garment a fringed wrap enriched with a border of rosettes and concentric squares. His earring has three knob-like projections. He carries over his left shoulder the bow ending in a duck’s head, and the quiver equipped with fringes which hang down in front of him. The panel contains an inscription.

Found in Tiglath-pileser III’s central Palace of Nimrud.

Height: 105 centimetres Width: 118 centimetres

This scan was made from 29 photographs in low gallery light just before closing. Processed in Photoscan Pro, Sony A6000. The mesh is on the poor side for this model.
