I utilized photogrammetry to create this Cat Statue that I have in my house, taking 156 photos with my phone to genarate the mesh using the softwere Meshroom. This resulted in the creation of both the high-poly mesh and the base colour texture.
In addition to Meshroom, I used other software tools to refine and enhance the statue’s details. Blender was used for refining the high-poly mesh and creating UVs for the low-poly version. The generation of the low-poly mesh was achieved through Zbrush’s Zremesher. To seamlessly transfer the details from the high-poly to the low-poly model, I used Substance 3D Painter for texture bakeing. Furthermore, I enhanced the accuracy of the roughness map using Substance 3D Sampler by using the bace colour map as refrence. Lastly, Affinity Photo enebeld me to clean up the base colour texture, ensuring a polished result.
