A skewed discrete sinusoidal path following the radial combinations in two grids (the remaining grids are hidden). First following the path from 0011 to 1100 adding 0001 for each step in in the blue grid, then following the path from 1100 to 0011 subtracting 0001 for each step in the red grid. The grid system can then follow the polar line back to the starting point.

The white grid is shown only for reference; indicating the horizontal plane.
