This model, comprising an area of about 7 Hectares (17 Acres), is mainly about the impressive seaside cliffs (acantilados) of a small section of a mountain called “Cerro Azul” (Blue Mountain) in the District of the same name, situated in the Cañete Province of the Lima Region in Perú. The whole mountain covers approximately 53 hectares (130 Acres). This mountain is a fairly important, but as yet not publicized archaeological site. It has scarcely been excavated and most of the buildings lie at an undetermined depth below sand and gravel. When I obtain geological and archaeological reports on it this description will be accordingly modified. The approximate Geographical limits of the model (in decimal degrees) are as follows: South-North: -13.03245° to -13.02834° West-East: -76.49041° to -76.48745° Software used: Pix4Dmapper Pro. Drone used for collecting the images: Phantom 4 Pro by DJI.
