The Gallipoli monument is found in the Kilmoden Parish and was recorded in April and June 2014 by the Colintraive and Glendaruel Development Trust Archaeology and History Group working alongisde the ACCORD team.
This monument is a WWI memorial dedicated to two brothers, R.F. McKirdy and P.M. McKirdy.
The ACCORD project ran between 2013 and 2015 and was a partnership between the Glasgow School of Art, Archaeology Scotland, the University of Manchester’s Archaeology Department and the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Scotland.
