‘Ad Patriam (Towards the Homeland)’, 1893. Life-size plaster model by Charles Jacquot (1865-1930) currently on display in the Petit Palais, Paris, France (Inv. COA-DBAS989). The statue depicts a girl from Alsace (Eastern France) carrying her brother. She just crossed the border between Germany and France.
