Even on days without assignments, Kiko found herself scurrying towards the clearing next to the academy, where she’d set up camp and do a little field research of her own. Adventure, she knew, was always waiting in unexpected places.

A geek at heart, she often brought along, well - everything. Just in case. Tools, cooking utensils, a couple or so satellite dishes, over a dozen gadgets, and even her laptop, which, she insisted, was most definitely not for video games.
