The Arganian Engineering Core Model 1 or AEC-1 Multi-role fighter is an the first combat capable personal fighter developed by the Arganian Confederation during the Arganian Rebelion. Designed and built withing a few months, the AEC-1 is a surprisingly reliable and capable fighter. While it’s not it’s not very pretty, it’s robust design and use of off-the-shelf parts made it rugged and easy to mantain, securing a foothold for the Arganians in the early years of the war. Although antiquated now, there are a few die-hard Arganian pilots that refuse to upgrade, insisting on it’s rugged looks and reliability over any “fancy modern” fighters now in deployment.
