This aérotrain was among the French projects leading to provide high speed trains to the French Railways in the 1960-1970. It never reached the green light for production, the TGV (Train à Grande Vitesse) being chosen instead. The machine itself has been destroyed by a fire much later.

I have a soft spot for this machine, as I saw its ramp along the highways every sumer in the late 70’s, before it beeing partially dismantled.

Here’s the kind of render you can get if you add some additionnal vegetation to the file.

Feel free to share what you have done with this iconic train (should it be a render, or a 3D printing) I have uploaded in 2024 an OBJ and STL export of the file. If you want to print the aerotrain, you might have to tweak the stl file before making it onto a printed item.
