Drone photogrammetry model from our team’s trip to Armenia to document and visit Armenian Monastery site locations. 3D laser scanning and reality capture were performed to varying degrees on a number of sites, with opportunistic and faster surveys conducted to use for project planning and expediant documentation, as was the case with this site which involved an afternoon of drone Structure from motion (SfM) photogrammetry work. The Surb Astvatsatsin (Holy Mother of God church) in Pghndzahank, Ahktala, is an Armenian fortress site in the NW region of Armenia and represents a well preserved monastery with the main church (shown here) famous for its highly artistic frescoes.
