Al Qabil oasis

Historic architecture in the oasis of Al Qabil in the Sultanate of Oman. The mud-brick houses are all abandoned and the whole ensemble is highly endangered by erosion and disregard. The settlement was documented within an aerial survey by the eScience-Center of the University of Tübingen.
