This is a little lesson about normals and normal maps I devised to hopefully help people understand about this essential 3d modeling concept. In this showcase, I briefly mull over bump map vs. normal map, and focus in on how normal maps can simulate bevels on low poly objects. I apologize if this is kind of all over the place, but hopefully you guys and gals learn something. Please contact me for any questions, I’ll be happy to answer. Thank you!
Enjoy, and let me know if something is incorrect! :)
