More model informationA late Neolithic passage grave located close the village of Plaudren, Morbihan, Brittany. The site is 6 m in length and is dated to around 4,500 - 4,300 BP (L’Helgouach, 1968). It features engravings representing the Mother Goddess including carved breasts on the back wall of the tomb.
The site was recorded in January 2016 using hand-held Nikon D200 and D7000 cameras as part of the Creative Europe-funded Common Cultural Connections project.
We would like to extend special thanks to Philippe Gouezin, University of Rennes, for his guidance and knowledge during our survey in January.
