This is a silver altar cross decorated with medallions with painted enamels. The cross and the circle (the glow around the cross) are decorated with medallions featuring pictorial enamels. On the front side of the central cross is the scene “Resurrection of Chris”, below it is “Crucifixion”, on the right is “Laying into the grave”, on the circle – “Angel with the instruments of Christ’s execution”. The reverse side features the scenes “Mother of God and Child”, four medallions depicting the evangelists, “Annunciation”, “Presentation of Christ”, “Baptism of Christ in the River Jordan”, and a partially destroyed fragment that may depict “Adoration of the Three Kings”.
