More model informationThe ambrussum opidum is bordered by the via domitia, a Roman way. Here we have the modelisation of a part of the rampart. This triangula-shaped rampart defended a town that was 5 hectares in area. Its construction dates from the end of the 4th century or the beginning of the 3rd century B.C. In the second half of the 3rd century B.C. the rampart was modified to include rounded towers. Its function was a military one. The rampart was dismantled very early, soon into the 1st century A.D. 3D model done with 390 pictures taken by the parrot Anafi.
