Ammonite - Lake Clark National Park

As one of many ammonite species to have inhabited the area, the features of this specimen make it easy to distinguish from other species, which helps to determine a narrow range within which the species lived, from 174.7 Ma to 165.3 Ma (Ma = millions of years ago).
