This is the Ammonite Pachydiscus hazzardi, found in the Kaguyak Formation in Katmai National Park, Alaska. It is 72-68 million years old from the Late Cretaceous, early Maastrichtian. This specimen is a very large ammonite about 50 centimeters in diameter. The fossil resides in the National Park Service Regional Curation Center, catalog number: KATM 9080.
