Anémone wreck, excavation by ASSOCIATION AAPA UNIVERSITÉ DES ANTILLES AIHP GEODE EA 927 Director Jean-Sébastien Guibert
Preliminary research carried out in July 2015 demonstrated the interest of the site of the Passe de la Baleine located in the Bay of Saintes, Terre-de-Haut, Guadeloupe, and the very likely identification of the remains of the wreck as those of the Anemone a schooner of the Royal Navy lost during the hurricane of September 7 to 8, 1824.
Underwater photogrammetry carried out as part of a collaboration between Septentrion Environnement and LIS (Laboratory of Computer Science and Systems) Aix-Marseille University, UMR CNRS 7020.
