More model informationThis oak panel was carved by The Sutton Hoo Ship’s Company volunteer, Mike Pratt, in the likeness of the Anglo-Saxon carving that adorned ships of that era. The 3D carving depicts intertwining beasts.
The burial ship is being reconstructed in The Longshed, Woodbridge, Suffolk, UK and is viewable by the public when work is taking place.
