Aouk Underground River - Kuom & Air Aouk Spring3D Model
The first expedition to Bird’s Head peninsula (New Guinea) of Acheloos Geo Exploring took place in 2016 under the framework of a project “Call for River” – some information made us imagine the possibility of finding here, one of the world’s largest underground rivers. The final exit of underground river is called Beir Aouk e Kuom. This final huge arch (over 100 meters high) is an important place for local Mey Mare cosmology, closely connected with life energy and birth. Aouk Underground River has similar size and even exceeds the world’s largest known cave rivers in Khoun Xe Cave (Laos) and Gebihe system (China). https://www.wondermondo.com/aouk-underground-river/ https://issuu.com/speleo.it/docs/speleologia_82_completo_web_2._pdf/18 https://www.scribd.com/document/395347077/Aouk-Underground-River
